During the company's tenure of the Hayes Creek Exploration Licence prior to surrender considerable reconnaissance prospecting was conducted to locate visual iron rich beds. No iron ore lenses of any significance were located. Notwithstanding prospecting did confirm low grade lenses of iron mineralisation considered too low grade to warrant analysis. The Exploration Licence was surrendered because the company considered its financial resources should now be focussed on gold - not for lack of prospectivity within the tenement for iron ore or manganese.en_US
