Abstract: The title EL 29123 is located in the under explored region of Lake Amadeus in the Amadeus Basin. Previous exploration targets have included phosphate and evaporites, uranium, sulphur, copper and diamonds. All exploration in the area has been short lived with few available reports and data. There are no delineated deposits of any kind in the area of EL 29123 however there are prospects for sandstone hosted uranium deposits such as roll front and fault hosted deposits. There is also a possibility of associated copper mineralisation within the fault hosted uranium deposits. Furthermore, evaporites and phosphate are potential targets in areas of ephemeral drainage within the title area. Exploration to date has consisted of desktop studies, literature reviews, photogeological mapping and investigation of publicly available data from government surveys. The next phase of exploration will focus on geological field mapping and a targeted remote sensing project. Remote sensing will be investigating structures within the area of EL 29123 using SkyTEM or a gravitational survey. Following these structural studies a seismic survey and a radiometric survey will be carried out with a subsequent focused drilling program.
