Abstract

The objective of the exploration on EL 24052 was to target manganese mineralisation under cover at a favourable stratigraphic horizon. An exploration program of electromagnetic surveying using the e34 inductive instrument was considered for the largely alluvial covered exploration licence. However, as an EM survey failed to gain significant results on a traverse in a similar environment on an adjoining exploration licence the EM traverses were abandoned.
