First annual report for EL 25201 Mt Tymn Project

Abstract

EL 25201 is located about 110 km southeast of Darwin in the Batchelor 1:100,000 sheet area. It comprises of 15 blocks with a total area of approximately 50.13 km2. The tenement was granted to Whitvista Pty Ltd on 5 December 2006. Four contractors of Mineral Agencies Australia Pty Ltd (MAA), between 2 October and 15 October 2007, conducted seven working days of exploration and technical fieldwork. The work comprised of: Obtaining approvals from the local communities; Marking and preparing ground survey; Removing 32 rock chip geochemical samples; and 108 scintillometer readings taken over a distance of approximately 10 kilometres. The readings were taken across parts of the central and southern areas of the tenement with the highest results being 200 cps, with a background of 45-50 cps and 85 cps on the ridges. No water samples were taken. The 32 rock chip samples were sent from Darwin to Genalysis Laboratories, Perth for assaying. The samples are being assayed for Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Pt, Pd, K, U, Th and Zn. The results of the rock-chip samples should be available within four weeks.
