EL 25347 Allambi, Annual technical report for the period 12 March 2009 to 11 March 2010

Abstract

Exploration activities were limited to compilation of all historic geochemical data and available geophysical data and analysis of the exploration potential. No fieldwork was conducted during this reporting period. Review of existing geological mapping and recently acquired hyperspectral scanning data did not identify prospective Brewer Conglomerate within the tenement. The Udandita Sandstone (sic Undandita Member) within the Brewer Conglomerate hosts the uranium mineralization at Angela and Pamela. Detailed spectral analysis from the survey flown in 2008 was employed to check previous geological interpretations. This study did not indicate any significant variation from existing geological mapping. Geochemical data, combined with available radiometric and magnetic survey data was used to facilitate exploration targeting. Mild uranium anomalism is exhibited in soil samples collected by previous explorers in the northern and central southern portions of EL 25347. Further evaluation of the these low order anomalies is proposed and additional soil and rock chip sampling and ground radiometric traverses are proposed for the 2010-2011 field season. Less prospective areas in the central part of EL 25347 were relinquished in February 2010.
