Year 4 Reduction report EL 27154 Calvert River Project for period ending 13 October 2013

Abstract

An airborne hyperspectral remote sensing survey was conducted over EL25397 and included part of EL27154 in August 2008. The Northern-eastern part of the relinquished area was covered by this survey. The survey assisted in interpretation of numerous circular pipes which had been noted in the area from previous studies and analysis of satellite imagery, pinpointed several new targets further south in the tenement and aided in an ongoing fault interpretation study for the region. This initial program was then followed up by more detailed field work including scintillometer traverses. However no significant results were measured so no sample were taken. The blocks relinquished in October 2013 were dropped as they had not had any exploration work undertaken on them during the last period and had previously been interpreted as having a low exploration priority. Carpentaria therefore dropped the ground to focus on higher priority areas.
