EL 28547 Crown Creek Project First annual report for year ending 18 August 2012

Abstract

First year investigations by Arafura Resources Limited on the Crown Creek project (EL 28547) included desktop research of open file historical reports and compilation of GIS data of the project area. The GIS includes historic sampling locations which have been estimated through rectification of maps from the historical reports, which were often hand drawn or traced. The accuracy of these locations varies and can sometimes be as great as 500m. Other work undertaken includes the assessment of the project area for carbonate to supply to the Nolans Bore project. Calcrete targets were identified within EL 28547; however alternative carbonate sources closer to Nolans Bore were explored.
