Abstract: The Lone star Reserves No. 279 covers an area of 31 square km (12 square miles) and is situated east north east of Tennant Vreek township. The reserve takes its name from the old Lone Star Mine, which is situated within it. As a result of a joint venture agreement between Nobelex NL and Inter Copper Limited, and a subsequent agreement with the Australian Government , an authority to Explore under section 147B of the Mining Ordinance was issued to the partners. Two of the prospects to be investigated were Central and Eartern.
