Report on EL 831 for period 7 May 1975 to 6 May 1976, Gondwana Project

Abstract

This report covers activity in EL 831 which consisted essentially of a follow up of the detailed geochemical exploration programme completed in the previous term of the license. This was achieved with two diamond drill holes: DDH WC-5/64 and DDH WC-5/65 which tested lead anomalies in the Huandot Form block immediately south of the Woodcutters L5 prospect. Both holes were essentially negative. Other work consisted of lease marking in the L5 area and the commencement of a comprehensive geochemical sampling programme of all cored holes on the L5 prospect. Results of this will be reported subsequently.
