dc.description.abstractEL 1199 Yungarra, was granted to Agip Australia Pty Ltd.,on February 9 1977 with the primary aim of exploration of sandstone-hosted uranium mineralization. Due to a total lack of outcrop of prospective rocks, drilling was the primary exploration tool and a total of 38,225 metres were drilled in 180 holes on the areas of the EL that are the subject of this report. In addition to the drilling programme, gravity, sirotem and ground resistivity surveys; and petrological and palynological studies were also carried out. The three areas which are the subject of this report cover steeply to flatly - dipping Mt. Eclipse Sandstone containing significant deposits of sandstone-type uranium mineralization, viz. The Minerva, Anungka and Mt. Allan Prospects.en_US
