Within SEL 8497 a total of 1247 soil samples were collected from three areas. An infill program was completed at the NE boundary and confirmed the original anomaly, however the anomalism appears to be sourced from alluvial material. Part of the northern area was sampled at a line spacing of 400m but results were low. Anticlinal structures in the south were also covered but results were low. Within SEL 7707 a total of 263 soil samples were collected of which 24 were obtained in the southern block. Results of the soil sampling were low, ie less than 5 ppb Au. Three rock chips were collected of quartz veins previously drilled with the better result being 0.35 g/t Au. Nine trenches were excavated over the Marcelle Zone and Hot Rock prospects with the zone prospect intersecting wide low grade mineralisation, ie. 4 zones with one trench varying from 22m @ 0.4 g/t Au to 6m @ 0.3 g/t Au. Narrow intercepts were made at Hot Rock, ie 2m @ 2.8 g/t Au.en_US
