| dc.description.abstract | The project area is located approximately 32 km northeast of Batchelor and 57 km southeast of Darwin, in the Rum Jungle mineral field of the Pine Creek Inlier. A desk top study of uranium deposits in the Rum Jungle area with reference to the Harrison Dam Prospect was undertaken together with a radiometric survey and an Alphatrack radon survey. In general the Marrakai Project does not appear to be prospective for uranium mineralisation. The results of the AlphaTrack survey over where the Koolpin Formation subcrops near the Giants Reef Fault indicate no anomalous points of interest. | en_US |
