| Abstract: | The area relinquished comprised 29 blocks with subdued magnetics. This was thought to comprise the Irindina province (gneiss, sediments) and the Mt Baldwin area, part of the Georgina basin in the north. No samples or field work was undertaken on the area south of the Entire Point Shear Zone as it was thought to offer little near surface prospectivity. Mt Baldwin was to rugged and would be a difficult exploration location. Office based assessment included magnetic interpretations, google earth, aster imagery and literature review. |
