Title: Final surrender report EL 24178 10 February 2005 to 14 December 2012
Title Holder / Company: Northern Minerals
Report id: CR2012-1193
Tenure: EL24178
Year: 2012
Author: Warburton, K
Abstract: The unconformity at the base of the Birrindudu Basin remains untested in the Suplejack Project area. Conductive features highlighted from airborne geophysical surveys in 2007 have only had a minimal amount of follow up work, largely the consequence of lack of funding during the Global Financial Crisis during 2008-2009. Planned ground electromagnetic surveys and drill programs were cancelled. Since 2010, the priority of Northern Minerals exploration activities has changed to focus primarily on rare earth and gold mineralization within the Tanami region. Northern Minerals does not consider EL 24178 to be prospective for either of these commodities and therefore chose not to renew the tenement.
