Title: | Partial relinquishment report for EL 28116 Ammaroo Phosphate Project |
Title Holder / Company: | Rum Jungle Resources |
Report id: | CR2013-0021 |
Tenure: | EL28116 |
Year: | 2013 |
Author: | Dunster, J |
Abstract: | EL 28116 is part of Rum Jungle Resources' Ammaroo Phosphate Project. The project contains a JORC resource at Barrow Creek 1 and an advanced prospect at Ammaroo 1. Rum Jungle Resources is making a partial reduction of seventy-one (71) blocks of EL 28116 so as to retain one hundred and eighty-five (185) blocks for Year 3 and is seeking a partial waiver of reduction in respect of fifty-seven (57) blocks. This proposal reduces EL 28116 to less than 250 blocks as stipulated under the Mineral Titles Act. Six RAB holes to a maximum of 55 m and 233 m total have been drilled in the relinquished portion. No phosphate was intersected. This, the proximity to Ammaroo Homestead, and the amount of ground sterilised by the Sandover River and its floodplain are sufficient to justify the partial relinquishment being proposed. Western EL 28116 is logistically more difficult and is yet to be drill tested, and so will be retained. |
