Title: | Fifth annual and final report on Exploration Activities, Dunmarra Project EL 25838 |
Title Holder / Company: | United Uranium United Mining Resources |
Report id: | CR2012-0801 |
Tenure: | EL25838 |
Year: | 2012 |
Author: | Prentice, I |
Abstract: | Exploration work completed by United Uranium Limited since grant of the tenement has included data compilation, reinterpretation of regional geophysical data, soil and rock chip sampling, XRF and scintillometer surveys and flying of a fixed wing, low level, magnetic and radiometric survey. The completed exploration has downgraded the prospectivity of the tenement with no evidence to support the potential for significant near surface mineralisation. The underlying Mullaman sediments at Dunmarra remain conceptually favourable for the formation of roll front, sandstone or unconformity style uranium deposits, however the exploration completed has provided no evidence to support the presence of these deposit styles within the tenement area. No further exploration activity is recommended and the tenement has been surrendered. |
