| Abstract: | Exploration activities that have been undertaken in the relinquished area of EL 10189 include 11 HMA samples taken in the 2004-2005 reporting period, along with 69 geochemical samples. These samples were collected as follow-up of a number of airborne geophysical anomalies. All results suggested they were not related to kimberlite intrusive. One HMA sample was also collected in the 2011-2012 reporting period. This sample was collected in an area reporting historic positive samples and was aimed at recovering chromite for mineralogical assessment. Results were disappointing suggesting a kimberlite intrusive is not the likely source of the historic results. |
