Predictive Discovery Limited applied for EL 28494 for uranium and gold mineralisation based on strong similarities in the geological setting there with that of the large Westmorland uranium field in Queensland. The planned exploration program on this EL was designed to complement work on the adjacent EL 24645, and especially a target zone which overlapped onto EL 28494. Unfortunately, drilling on EL 24645 failed to discover uranium mineralisation in any of the target areas. Consequently, the planned work program which had been scheduled for the 2012 dry season did not go ahead and the title was surrendered.en_US
