Eclipse Uranium completed the Tempest AEM Program over its three granted tenements in the Ngalia Basin. The initial agreement with the NTGS was for co-funding over Area 3 (part of EL 24625). Further to conversations with the NTGS Eclipse has agreed to provide Fugro data covering all 4 flight areas (three tenements total). The Program was completed between the 4th September and the 23rd September 2011 by Fugro Airborne Surveys Pty Ltd. The program comprised a Tempest AEM electromagnetic and magnetic survey completed over 4 main survey areas. The program utilized a Shorts SkyVan SC-3-200 aircraft and completed a total of 1610 line km over 16 flights. The survey was based out of Alice Springs and the survey aircraft was operated from Alice Springs Airport. In Area 3 (the reporting extents) the flights lines were completed at 1000m spacing with 4000m tie lines where appropriate as shown as Figure 4. The closest spaced infill area was completed at 400m line spacing. All lines were flown with a nominal terrain clearance of 100m. The initial work completed on the Tempest AEM data (has shown numerous targets all of which require follow up work over the coming year. The program appears to have successfully identified targets across both the basin setting and also the basin margin environment. The targets identified have ranged from shallow conductive, to mid -late time conductive environments and a strong deep conductive target at the basin margin. Although refinement and further investigation over the coming year is required the Tempest AEM program has been successful in this section of the basin to determine conductive target horizons.en_US
