The tenement is prospective for manganese mineralisation, particularly Cretaceous deposits of the style seen at Groote Eylandt. Five Localities were visited during a field trip along the eastern boundary of the tenement, however only one of these (Area 5) is located within the relinquished area of EL 27305. No samples were collected from Area 5, due to the area covered by outcropping Proterozoic siltstone (not thought to be prospective for manganese).en_US
