Partial relinquishment report on EL 25556

Abstract

During the years under review, EL 25556 has been explored moderately. It mainly involved collection and limited processing of previous open file data acquired from NT Geological Survey, Darwin. It involved open file historical exploration reports, airborne radiometric and magnetic data and remote sensing imaginary. Work also included recovery of open file digital seismic data from Magellan Petroleum's vaults in Brisbane. This has been transcribed onto modern media with data recovery specialists in Perth. The tapes were then handed over to the NTGS, along with a copy of the recovered data. One seismic line has been surveyed over the license area which has been relinquished.
