Title: | Partial relinquishment for EL 24835 Phillip Creek |
Title Holder / Company: | Uranium West Rum Jungle Resources |
Report id: | CR2011-0821 |
Tenure: | EL24835 |
Year: | 2011 |
Author: | Doyle, N Dunster, J |
Abstract: | EL 24835 is targeting Tennant Creek-style IOCGU and other forms of uranium. Previous partial relinquishments were made to EL 24835 in 2009 and 2010. Work on the area now being relinquished included soil and rock chip sampling and two RC holes. During the fifth year of tenure, Rum Jungle Resources completed 11 RC drillholes for a total of 1266 m within the greater area of EL 24835. These holes had various targets including, magnetic, ground gravity and lag geochemical anomalies. This drilling helped rank the area relinquished against that retained. In the opinion of Rum Jungle Resources and its JV partner, the northern part of EL 24835 is the least prospective, has been adequately tested and can now be partially relinquished. |
