Combined annual and final report Mt Doreen project EL 25698, EL 25701, EL 25702 and EL 25941 September/October 2007 to 3 August 2011

Abstract

The Mt Doreen Project area is within the Eastern Tanami region and is situated approximately 320 km northwest of Alice Springs. EL 25698, EL 25701, EL 25702 and EL 25941 were granted to Deep Yellow Limited during 2007. The commodity sought is uranium and the exploration programme sought to identify near-surface calcrete or sandstone hosted uranium mineralisation, with secondary targets comprising tabular lignite or roll front mineralisation within deeper basinal sediments. Exploration carried out during term of tenure included reconnaissance fieldwork, an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey comprising 865 line kilometres across EL 25701 and an aircore drill programme. The drilling programme consisted of 185 drillholes for a total of 6,145 metres.
