Abstract: | EL 26499 was granted to Suplejack Pty Ltd on 18 July 2008 to explore for copper mineralisation in the Hardman Syncline area of the east Kimberly Region in the Northern Territory. There has been limited work conducted on Copper Flats, EL 26499, over the period that the tenement has been held by Ord River Resources. Geochemical sampling is not warranted on EL 26499 due to a lack of significant results on the sampling programme on the adjacent tenement, EL 25671. Interpretation based on the aerial photos and geophysics (magnetics) of the region was undertaken and it was determined that there was no significant geological structures within the tenement and if there was potential for mineralisation it would contained below thick cover. Due to these findings it was suggested that the tenement be relinquished entirely. |
