L 25954 Baystone lies within the Eastern Tanami region and is situated approximately 280 km northwest of Alice Springs. EL 25954 was granted to Deep Yellow Limited over an area of 147 blocks on 15 October 2007. The commodity sought was uranium and the exploration programme aimed to identify near-surface calcrete or sand hosted uranium, with secondary targets comprising tabular lignitic or redox traps within deeper basinal sediments. No on-ground exploration was carried out on EL 25954 during the term of tenure. DYL surrendered the tenement effective 4 July 2011 together with the other tenements forming the Reynolds Range Project.en_US
