Title: Second annual and final surrender report for EL 27129 Stoney Dam
Title Holder / Company: Rum Jungle Resources
Report id: CR2011-0531
Tenure: EL27129
Year: 2011
Author: Dunster, J
Abstract: EL 27129 was held to explore for Tennant Creek-style IOCGU mineralisation, vein-type and unconformity-type uranium mineralisation. A 1500 line km airborne geophysical survey (magnetics and radiometrics) was flown at 100 m line spacing in a north south orientation at 30 m flying height by UTS Geophysics. A ground gravity survey was conducted by Atlas Geophysics over three grids at a 50 m x 50 m spacing with a total of 914 stations collected. Geological prospecting was undertaken using a NITON handheld XRF and scintillometer. Four reconnaissance rock chip samples were taken with no anomalous results. A systematic LAG sampling program was conducted over Grid 2 with 78 samples taken. The only statistically significant results were Au 12 ppb, Sb 12ppm, Bi 2 ppm. EL 27129 has been thoroughly and methodically tested by geophysical surveys and surface sampling, all within two years. Desktop studies have failed to generate any new leads. EL 27129 was surrendered.
