Abstract: EL 24937 is located approximately 100kms south east of Tennant Creek and south of Kurundi Station. The licence is currently 28 blocks (75.23sqkms) and can be accessed from the Stuart Highway and thence via existing tracks. The Licence is located in the Tennant Creek Region with a majority of the licence falling within the Davenport Province and the eastern tip of the licence falling within the Warramunga Province. The licence consists of Palaeoproterozoic sedimentary rocks which are dominated by sandstones, siltstones and conglomerates. Felsic and mafic volcanics and granite are also within the licence. During the reporting period, a reconnaissance field trip was undertaken to EL 24937 to investigate the presence of lead, zinc, silver and gold within the licence. Personnel travelled in three vehicles to the licence, where gold detecting occurred and 64 rock and 7 soil samples were taken. These 71 samples were sent to Genalysis Laboratory in Adelaide for assaying.
