Final report EL 24693 Field River reporting period 12 December 2005 to 11 December 2010

Abstract

This report details exploration work carried out by Uramet Minerals Ltd within its Field River tenement (EL 24693) in the Northern Territory between 13 December 2005 and 15 December 2010 (the date of surrender). The tenement was originally held by Elkedra Diamonds NL, and was transferred to Uramet during the 2007 season. Archived BMR core from holes Hay River 10, Hay River 11, Hay River 11A, and Hay River 11B were examined at Geoscience Australia, Canberra. Core samples were analysed with a Niton portable XRF spectrometer and selected conductivity measurements were undertaken. A helicopter-based electromagnetic (EM) survey was flown in 2007, but did not detect any significant massive sulphide style targets. A total of 35 rock chip samples were collected, with some anomalous phosphate and base metal values retuned. Two aircore holes totalling 72m were drilled to test for the presence of phosphate and base metals. No intercepts of likely economic significance were obtained. The tenement was surrendered on the 15 December 2010.
