Exploration completed during the reporting period (30 November 2009 to 5 November 2010) at the Simpson EL (EL 27293) involved the interpretation of airborne geophysical data. The tenement was acquired on the basis of sinuous aeromagnetic anomalies which were considered to be possible lava channels and potential hosts to nickel/platinum mineralisation. Modelling indicated that the anomalies are likely due to remanently magnetised lava flows rather than lava tubes. Accordingly the tenement was relinquished. No on-ground activities were carried out.en_US
