Title: Geophysics and drilling collaborations program: Larrimah East Survey EL 27472 and EL 27473 Antrim Project for the period 5 September 2010 to 13 December 2010
Title Holder / Company: Western Desert Resources

Abstract: The objective of the program was to acquire new geophysical data to refine geological understanding and define mineral targets in the Dunmarra Basin. The primary target is base metals in Proterozoic or Cambrian age rocks. There is also demonstrated potential for secondary iron ore deposits. The tenement area has no outcrop, and has been subject of very little historical exploration. GPX Surveys Pty Ltd performed a XTEM helicopter electromagnetic survey for Western Desert Resources over the Larrimah survey area in the Northern Territory. The survey was flown using a Eurocopter AS350 BA Squirrel helicopter. In total 1763.8 line kms of time domain EM and magnetics was surveyed. Minimum line length was 3000m, nominal ground clearance 30-40m, and the helicopter survey speed was 45-50 knots. Traverse line spacing was 400m orientated in a 090 and 270 direction. Tie line spacing was 2500 m orientated 000 and 180. There is no evidence of any previous ground or airborne EM surveys in the general vicinity. Ground EM work completed by Pacific Oil and Gas in equivalent geological environments established the applicability and utility of this technique. The Dunmarra Basin includes extensive areas of no outcrop, very coarse gravity coverage and magnetic signatures from flat-lying volcanics that clouds interpretation. WDR is committed to drill testing anomalous features identified by this survey. The geophysical survey extends over two granted Exploration Licences east of Larrimah. This is on the eastern margin of the Larrimah geology sheet. The tenement area extends over part of two pastoral leases - Vermelha and Maryfield stations. No freehold land is involved.
