Annual technical report for the period 14 October 2009 to 13 October 2010

Abstract

This first Annual Technical Report for EL 27183 covers work carried out during the twelve month period from 14 October 2009 to 13 October 2010. Exploration activities during the period have involved: An historical data review comprising acquisition and assessment of all available open file reports and data; A work program and Mine Management Plan (MMP) has been written up ready to be submitted to the Department of Resources (DoR); Native Title negotiations were continued with the Central Land Council and a sacred site clearance application submitted. These were not progressed to any extent during the year because Traditional Owners are not certain of their position and a meeting could not be scheduled earlier in the year. Hence, the MMP has not been submitted and no field work could be carried out. A meeting with Traditional Owners is scheduled for mid November 2010.
