On our field trips to the EL in 2008/2009 Gerald and Linna Pauley found indications of amethyst and smoky quartz. From our experience in this area we believe that prehnite, our target gemstone, may occur adjacent to this area. Time constraints did not allow us to do further surface inspections. The EL 24469 was later surrendered and we then made a new application for a larger area EL 28125.en_US
