Abstract: The start-up exploration program consisted of a first pass simple interpretation of available geophysical datasets and available open file company reports detailing previous exploration. Previous exploration targets included diamonds and base metals. Examination of geophysical datasets such as airborne magnetic and gravity in conjunction with regional geology maps was undertaken. Of the 22 targets selected at Limbunya these have been retained with the exception of one or two. The lack of dipole targets in relinquished areas is another reason for dropping it. Our focus is primarily on extrusives and intrusives. Little potential was noted for the thickly alluvium covered portions of the EL. Only minor outcrop occurred in this area and the general lack of any significant magnetic or gravity anomalies detracted from its appeal. Follow-up exploration of a soil and rock sampling program to test identified targets. The sampling was designed to fill gaps from previous exploration, focused around testing the rock types and geochemistry of three main areas in the northern part of the tenement. Samples were sent for assay and interpretations made. No work was conducted in portions of the EL with thick alluvial cover.
