Annual report on EL 26182 McArthur Basin Project, reporting period 25 February 2009 to 24 February 2010

Abstract

This report covers exploration completed on EL 26182 during the reporting period from 25 February 2009 to 24 February 2010. The tenement is located on the southern margin of the Proterozoic McArthur Basin in the north-eastern part of the Northern Territory, immediately to the north of the Murphy Inlier. It is 400 kms NE of Tennant Creek, and 860 kms SE of Darwin, and forms part of Castile's McArthur Basin Project. The tenement, covering an area of 370 km2 (113 sub-blocks), was granted to Castile Resource Pty Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westgold Resources Limited) on 25 February 2008. It is located within Calvert Hills Pastoral Lease, adjacent to the southern boundary of the Garawah Aboriginal Lands Trust. Exploration for the year ending 24 February 2010 included data acquisition and interpretation and report writing. No field work was completed. A program of mapping and follow-up sampling is proposed for the year ending 24 February 2011. The proposed minimum expenditure for this work will be $27,900.
