dc.description.abstractAlara Resources Limited (formerly Alara Uranium Limited) has conducted exploration for uranium over the exploration licence 24930 from the time of grant in August 2006 to surrender in July 2009. The objective of the exploration was to locate uranium mineralisation. Exploration involved review of historical data, acquisition and processing of airborne geophysical data, processing and evaluation of aerial photography and ASTER data, ground verification and geological evaluation. Assessment of results indicated that there was low potential for uranium mineralisation over this tenement and hence the decision to surrender the tenement.en_US
