Year 3 annual report for EL 24823 Curtis Pound for the period 2 August 2008 to 1 August 2009

Abstract

The Curtis Pound Project covers Proterozoic rocks of the Tennant Inlier and contains a number of identified radiometric anomalies. Hale Energy Limited explored primarily for sandstone hosted uranium deposits together with base metals and gold. A review of the geological data and previous exploration reports was undertaken during the first year of the lease, reconnaissance ground exploration work was carried out to check access. Systematic locating and checking of prospects and reviewing open file data continued during Year 3 exploration. Failure to locate some of the open file prospects and difficult access led to a reduction in size of the tenement from 227 to 113 graticular blocks.
