Partial relinquishment report for EL 24709 for the period ending 30 December 2008

Abstract

A number of field trips were carried out on the relinquished sub-blocks however this was limited to reconnaissance for surficial Prehnite occurrence. No significant gem quality Prehnite was found during these field trips and no further significant exploration was carried out. There was no disturbance to the surface or the local vegetation during the life of these sub-blocks and therefore there was no need to rehabilitate the area. Future exploration will be concentrated in the retained sub-blocks particularly subblock W where there is a known concentration of 'thunderegg' occurrence.
