Abstract: The tenement is located about 150 km ENE of Alice Springs and 46 km SE of the Harts Range settlement. The tenement lies within the eastern Arunta Region in the southern NT, towards the south western flank of the Entia Dome. Exploration activities carried out on the tenement since it was granted include open file research, a VTEM survey, Landsat TM acquisition and processing, GIS review and target generation and rock chip sampling. However, the 7 blocks being relinquished were not a focus during this time and had no work done on them in regards to the VTEM survey and rock chip sampling. The 7 blocks from EL 24838 are being relinquished as part of the statutory agreement as per the Mining Act. These blocks were chosen due to the fact they were considered the least prospective.
