L 24834 is located 50km north west of Tennant Creek and 7km NW of the Warrego Gold Mine on Warrego Road. Approximately 600 line km of airborne geophysics were flown over the tenement during the second year of tenure at 100m line spacing. Geophysics has been completed and preliminary interpretation undertaken. Additionally, a ground gravity survey was conducted over the SE part of the EL. Geophysical interpretation continues along with target generation and field investigations involving mapping, sampling and geochemical analysis. In detail, early in the current year a reconnaissance field trip by helicopter was undertaken and three rock chip samples taken. Subsequent work included additional interpretation of airborne magnetic and radiometric datasets to generate additional field targets. Nine sites were investigated using vehicular access to the EL and limited geological mapping was undertaken due to poor outcrop and difficulty of access. Eight regolith samples and two further rock chip samples were taken and analysed using Rum Jungle's Niton XRF. Of interest is a quartz porphyry outcrop coincident with a mild radiometric anomaly TC049. A ground gravity survey was undertaken in the SE portion of the EL in conjunction with EL 25578 to the south of EL 24834. Results are just to hand.en_US
