Final report for EL 25905 Limmen Bight River Project for the period 21 February 2008 to 27 January 2009

Abstract

Exploration Licence 25905, the Limmen Bight River Project, was granted on 21st February 2008 to Red Desert Uranium Pty Ltd (now Red Desert Minerals Pty Ltd), a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Desert Resources Ltd. The Limmen Bight River project area is located about 130 kilometres west south west of Borroloola, and about 200 kilometres east of Daly Waters, in the Gulf country of Northern Territory. The tenement covers ground that may be prospective for iron ore. The project area is located in the McArthur Basin of the Northern Territory. Previous exploration in the area has focused on base metals, diamonds and energy minerals. No exploration work has been carried out over the tenement area during the current year. The tenement was surrendered on 27th January, 2009, prior to completion of the current first year of tenement holding.
