EL 24625, EL 24636 and EL 24637 Annual report for Eclipse Uranium Project, year ending 18 December 2008

Abstract

This report details the exploration activities carried out over Scimitar Resources Ltd. (Scimitar) Eclipse Project in the Northern Territory, during the period 8th December 2007 to 18th December 2008. This work included research, data base compilation, field reconnaissance, airborne geophysical surveys and Aircore drilling within EL 24625, 24636 and 24637. An Aircore drilling program conducted during April and May 2008 comprised 207 holes for 4392 metres. The drilling targeted near surface calcrete hosted uranium mineralisation (similar to the adjacent New Well Uranium Deposit) within a large regional drainage system and potential targets interpreted from the 2007 TEMPEST electromagnetic survey including buried channels and palaeo-lake margins. The tenements were due for compulsory 50% reduction in December 2008. Partial relief from this requirement was given by the DRDPIFR in December 2008. Consequently, EL25625 was not reduced, EL 24636 was reduced by 50% and EL 24637 was reduced by 30%.
