Final report for EL 22247 Selby Project, for the period 5 February 2003 to 24 November 2008

Abstract

This report describes the exploration activities conducted over the life of Exploration Licence 22247 between the 5th of February, 2003, and the 24th of November, 2008. Work conducted over the tenement included stream sediment sampling, data acquisition, target generation and data reviews. A programme of 108 stream sediment samples were collected and assayed for a wide range of elements. Sampling was confined to the southern portion of the tenement, with the majority of samples taken over quartz sandstones of the Masterton Formation. Rock chip samples were taken almost exclusively within the Palaeoproterozoic Echo Sandstone unit; results were disappointing. The samples did not show any significant anomalism that would justify additional exploration.
