| Abstract: | EL 25674 is located about 147 km ENE of Alice Springs and 36 km SE of the Harts Range settlement. The tenement is falls within Newera's Quartz Hill project area. The Project lies within the eastern Arunta Region in the southern NT, towards the south western flank of the Entia Dome. Exploration activities carried out in the reporting period includes open file research, Magnetics and Radiometrics data acquisition and processing, GIS review and geological reconnaissance. Syenite and Feldspar-Quartz pegmatite dykes similar to Newera's Spartacus prospect were noted on a brief reconnaissance field visit, which may contain elevated rare earth elements. These will be sampled in 2009. |
