Relinquishment report for EL 24438 Stokes Yard

Abstract

EL 24438 belongs to Northern Mining Limited. The tenement contains the Stoke Yard zinccopper- lead prospect within the Maddens Yard complex of theWarumpi Province. After the license was purchased by Northern Mining Limited, a data review was carried out and 8 rock chips were collected from the existing pits. The results confirmed the previous work. Geophysical Resources Services Pty Ltd were contracted to carry out a ground magnetic survey. A total area of 1000 X 500m width was covered with 25m spaced east-west traverses. This, however failed to identify extensions of known mineralization as the intense magnetism around the mineralization was interpreted to be too narrow to affect a general response. Detailed geological mapping and sampling were undertaken in conjunction with the magnetic survey. Seventeen rock chips were collected which returned some anomalous results some distance from the old workings. All this work was north of Blocks K, F, G, H, J, P, L, M, N and O, which are to be relinquished.
