Abstract

EL 24547 was granted to Deep Yellow Ltd on 17 August 2007. Exploration work on the tenement was limited to planning a drilling programme and conducting a reconnaissance visit in preparation for the drilling programme. DYL lodged an application for an Authority Certificate with the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority on 10 July 2007, prior to grant of the tenement. The AAPA provided a quote for conducting a survey on 27 August 2007 which was accepted by DYL on 3 September 2007. An Authority Certificate with 11 Exclusion Zones was issued on 30 August 2008 and an Authorisation under the Mining Management Act was granted on 1 September 2008 allowing the drilling programme to commence.
