This AP of 57 square miles in the Granites-Tanami area was targeting an aeromagnetic anomaly. The monthly report for June 1968 indicates that an airphoto study revealed a small area of outcrop. This was confirmed on the ground and ironstone outcrops were sampled. A Gemco rig will be mobilised to test the bedrock causing the anomaly when it has been better delineated on the ground. No other details are available on this AP. It may have become all or part of AP 2175.en_US
