First annual report for EL 25575 Short Range period ended 10 July 2008

Abstract

EL25575 is located 55 km north west of Tennant Creek on the western flank of the Short Range. Three RC drill holes were completed during the year for 570m. The holes were drilled into a gravity low trying to intersect uranium mineralisation in roof pendant sediments overlying the Warrego Granite. No anomalous uranium was intersected. No gold or copper was visible in drill cuttings. Assay results have been excruciatingly slow and are not yet back after 7 months. A 1250 line km airborne geophysical survey at 100m line spacing and a ground gravity survey at 100m line spacing were conducted over the tenement during the first year of tenure. A number of radiometric anomalies were field checked with a hand held scintillometer as part of a larger helicopter assisted rock chip sampling program. One rock chip sample was taken which returned nothing of interest.
