This is a three volume structural study of Redbank copper. Bluff and Sandy Flay copper deposits occur with a flat lying sequence of trachytes and derived sediments called the Gold Creek Volcanics. It is overlain by Masterton Sandstone and underlain by Wollogorang Formation. Tectonics of the Gold Creek Volcanics are characterised by contemporaneous sedimentation and faulting, with common sediment-filled grabens. Bluff-style mineralisation occurs at the intersection of two such grabens with a Masterton slump breccia in the centre. Chalcopyrite is developed as a net-vein fracture filling in pink trachyte host rocks. A possible mechanism of ore genesis is suggested together with exploration criteria.en_US
