Abstract

Newmont tried to interest Adelaide Exploration Limited in acquiring the Tenements in 2006 but, because NGE was not able to furnish any technical information about the Mineral Leases to Adelaide Exploration Limited that company declined to take an interest in the Mineral Leases. Because the Newmont companies have not had a focus in the Tennant Creek Field since late in 1999, it was decided that the Tenements should be surrendered. Newmont have searched their archives and are not able to find any reports on the Tenements. It is suspected that any technical data held was sent to Adelaide Exploration Limited amongst other technical data on the Rover project. In any event, it is believed that no work has been undertaken on the Tenements since 1999 or earlier.
