S inspected this lease in 1982. The area is pitted with small shafts and diggings. The abandoned Maid of Erin gold mine is near the SE boundary. No other details of the mine are known. The host rock is Burrell Creek Formation. The mineralisation is fracture fill associated with vein quartz. Gold is intimately associated with arsenopyrite in the ore. Most of the oxidised ore has already been removed. No drill collars were located within the lease but there is previous drilling nearby.en_US
